Originated in Rutgers, Illinois in 1940

Fruit:
Gold Rush is a medium to large apple with a conic shape.  It is a deep greenish yellow with very crisp and hard flesh.  A tart flavor that mellows as it is stored. Doesn't Oxidize when cut.
