CRISPIN/MUTSU – EMLA106 Semi-Dwarf Rootstock – 5/8-3/4″ (4-5 ft.)
Japan, 1930 (Golden Delicious x Indo). Large, oblong apple similar to Golden Delicious but larger and more vigorous. Color is green to greenish-yellow. Flesh is sweet, honeyed, crisp and juicy. Aromatic. Good used in salads and pies. Triploid. Prone to canker, but resistant to fireblight, drought and frost. Spreading growth habit. Harvests mid-October.
